LAMP#053

LAMP#053

This lamp is an exploration of light, shadows, and space. The light leaks from the protruding openings, reflects onto the circular disc and is then subtly dispersed throughout the space. This work references familiar traditional forms that have been manipulated and simplified. This is my attempt at creating an object subtle enough to integrate into any space, yet distinctive enough to initiate a dialogue.

Lamp Vessel 13"x13"x16", porcelain clay; 2017.

Project Maison

MODULAR SOFA

What defines a home? And why is it so important? How is it important to different people? How are our individual values expressed through these objects? These are the questions that fueled this project. The aim of this group project was to design and produce a sofa. Our focus was to design a modular, customizable, transportable sofa. Considering the importance of space management in urban homes The sofa is designed to be able to transform from a three-seater to a two-seater.

Lignes de Fuites Vol.1

LIGNES DE FUITE VOL. 1

This is volume 1 of a local fashion book series called Lignes de Fuite. The book is a compilation of student works and interviews. For this project I collaborated with Roman where our role as artistic director and graphic designer consisted of creating a balanced dynamic layout; allowing for each artists voices to shine through, while still allowing for a unified and cohesive product. Since it is an archival piece it was important for all aspects to be treated as visuals; including the text. Along with the books, posters were designed to be sold alongside. 40 books ended up being published to date and all profits received from the sales were donated to the FONDATION DE LA MODE DE MONTRÉAL.

168 pages, 12"x19", 2017.

TEAM: Milan Tanedjikov (Producer); Victor Trn (Editor) ; Romane Sourbes (Artistic Direction and Graphic Designer); Johnelle Smith (Artistic Direction and Graphic Designer).
